The Board of Education will consider hiring two new reading teachers at Monday’s meeting.
Heather Hastings is being proposed as a long-term substitute reading teacher at LaFayette Intermediate School for the 2017-18 school year.
Nichole Greer is being recommended for appointment to a four-year probationary period as a reading teacher.
The board will also receive a report from Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Development Jennifer Hayden on state test results for grades 3 to 8 and Regents exam results, as well as on the English Language Arts curriculum process and roll-out.
Student representative Payton Clingerman will also be given a chance to give a report.
